1.考研：论文一般用于3月份面试的时候。许多人在选择考研院校时，都会往上一个梯度，从211到985，从二本到一本等等。在面试的时候遇到本科出身很好的对手，心里难免发虚。而论文就是证明自己学术能力和研究方向的最佳利器。导师会看发表刊物的级别以及篇数，看中你的研究能力，会为面试增分不少。
2.保研：论文一般用于9月份申请的时候。同考研一样，也会选择更好的学校去面试。我当时就发了好几篇论文，心里有了底气，面试的时候也自信起来。如果时间充裕的话，除了省级和国家级刊物，可以挑战下学报，试着投投。
3.就业：很多同学都会遇到这样的问题，大学成绩不太理想，简历上也没什么奖学金体现。这个时候，论文是你的一大帮手，因为作为学生，学习才是你的主业。企业 时，会格外看中你的学习能力。成绩木已成舟时，只能靠论文来补救啦，简历郑埋上也会丰满好看一些，你说呢？
4.科研项目：结项时必须发论文啊，这个不用多说了。提一点建议，好不容易申请的项目，既然发表论知改文就找个好的刊物，也不枉辛苦这一年半年的研究。
5.职称：各个单位要求不一，有省级就行，也有要求国家级的，中级高级职称的话至少得两三版了。建议还是发专刊，不要图便宜发那种什么都收的综合刊。
